After Kiwami 2 and seeing the limited graphics/PC options for the remastered collection I'm really hoping they aren't the studio to port the game over.
With the amazing news that Yakuza 3-6 is finally coming to PC (I have them on PS4 but I'm getting the PC versions lol) but I am curious about 6. Since Yakuza 6 Kamurocho has areas that are locked off like the Champion District and the entire northern area of the map you think it's possible that it could be restored by modders or god fobid the developers re adding them in?
Do you guys think we'll get Yakuza 6 on PC soon? Despite 3,4 and 5 being PS3 only? I've beaten Yakuza 3 a few months ago and currently working on 4 and 5 but would really rather not buy 6 on PS4 since the dragon engine from kiwami 2 was a masterpiece on PC.
Gamescom sucked even for every fandom of every game i am depressed and heart broken because sega didnt announce yakuza on pc nor did they announce any game that i know of so could anyone just update me or just give me hope or confirm that it could be announced some day

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Karaoke Survivor has taken a little break unfortunately and we apologise for that but it's coming back swinging right now! As Long As You're Happy is the next victim to this subreddit's tiger drop! At first I was surprised to see this song go but after seeing its competition it makes a lot more sense. Unfortunate to see it go either way considering how emotional it is. We're really down to the classics now! Very curious to see how things will pan out in the coming weeks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gone too soon...:

In 26 hours Yakuza Remastered Collection should be on Steam and I'm more than happy to play it for the first time in 60 fps. But I have many questions about Y6 which will be released March 25th. In a Steam discussion many players were concerned about Y6 performance and specs as it's the most demanding out of all Dragon Engine games. Apparently RGG Studio went all out with the engine in 6. Is it true that the game looks better and runs worse than Kiwami 2? Are there any qualities of Y6 lacking in YK2 making 6 more demanding? I'm concerned as I have GTX1050 (4GB), i7-7700HQ and 16gb of RAM. I've played Y0 and YK in 60fps/high/1080p, but YK2 and LaD in 30fps/high/900p. Should I expect the same kind of performance from Y6? Last question is who ports the game? Kiwami 2 was ported by QLOC and LaD was done by RGG Studio. I didn't have any issues with those games. I'm in no position to upgrade my specs at the moment so it's really important for me to run the last game in Kiryu's saga in 30 fps on my PC. Should I be worried about the performance?
Recommendation on which game to tackle first from my backlog
A little background to help yall pick the right game for me. I played jrpgs during 90% of my free time over the last year, but then took a month off due to burnout. Wanted to hop back into one, but am now in grad school with a part time job and am a little limited with my free time. My most valued criteria for the game is a great to very solid story with consistent pacing (not really interested in something like TiTS FC with the slow beginning etc). I also prefer an action battle system to make the game feel more "engaging" so to say, but am willing to get into a turn based system if it is very well executed. I also want a somewhat shorter game, but am willing to play a longer game if it is consistent with pacing and gameplay throughout (I am somewhat of a completionist but dont want side content stalling my progress). Lastly, I value 60 fps very highly, but played through DQ XI due to its quality, so I am willing to sacrifice framerate if the game is great. Sorry if my criteria seems counterintuitive. Anyway on to my backlog of games that I own. Also don't let my interest level stop you from recommending a game that you value highly and can make an argument in why it meets my criteria well. Games I am most interested in: - Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (Switch): Obviously this game is very highly regarded by many. I have heard of the inconsistencies of the battle system in the early game and the inconsistent pacing due to the importance of exploring the world and completing side quests. - Tales of Berseria (PC): I have heard that the story is up there with the best in the Tales series, but that the combat is somewhat lackluster for the series. The only other Tales game I have played is Tales of the Abyss and it was a great experience, but there were some parts that threw the pacing off. - Person 5 Royal (PS5): Obviously highly regarded. I am unsure if the turn based battle system is fleshed out enough to be truly engaging, so let me know your opinions. I am also worried about the length of the game - Trails from Zero (PC/Geofront Patch): I have finished all of the TiTS chapters and am looking forward to the Trails from Azure patch. I am kinda thrown off from the series though as of late and am not sure if the battle system is more of the same as well as the story pacing, so let me know your opionions. Also I have ToCS I-III if that changes anything. Games I am somewhat interested in: - Persona 4 Golden (PC): Not sure if I should play this before P5 Royal. - Tokyo Xanadu eX+ (PC): Heard its a above average action based persona clone to an extent. Not too sure if the missables are that big of a deal or how much micromanaging the game has. - Tales of Symphonia/Vesperia (PC): Maybe one of these is worth a shout. - Yakuza 0 (PC): Maybe a change of pace would be good for me. - Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered (PC): I love the Pokemon series (bring on the hate haha). I know its different, but am unsure if my interest in Pokemon would lead me to enjoy this game more than others enjoy it. If anything I haven't mentioned hits my criteria let me know and I will consider it. Would prefer to play a game I already own, but am willing to make an exception for a good time. I have completed FE3H, DQ XI, Nier Automata, TiTS, and Ys VIII. Thanks for any input and sorry for the wall of text. TLDR: I want an action JRPG that has consistent pacing and isn't too long with some exceptions for great games overall. Should I play Xenoblade Chronicles DE, Tales of Berseria, Persona 5 Royal, or Trails from Zero.

How much would be the Yakuza Remastered & Yakuza 6 on PC?
With all the game sales happening now I wanted to save up for these upcoming games. My guess would be $60 for remastered(Yakuza 3-5) and $60 Yakuza 6. But what do guys you think? Also bonus question. Do you guys think both games will be available on Steam on release day?

My 24 in 12 Challenge for 2021 - Part of a Larger Backlog Challenge
Hi everyone, I've been lurking on this subreddit for quite a while now while working on my immense gaming backlog (1100~ things total) - I think it'll take me at least five or six more years to clear the whole thing. Usually I bounce around quite a bit depending on whatever whim takes hold of me, but this year I thought it'd be fun to take part in a 24 in 12 challenge, mostly because this way I'll have a list of a few of the most important games I want to get to this year. It's a mix of things that I've picked up recently and things I've had in the backlog for years. So here's my 24 in 12 for 2021:
Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey (PC)
Black Mesa (PC)
Control: Ultimate Edition (PC)
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (PC)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut (PC)
Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition (PC)
Dragon Quest III (iOS)
God of War (2018) (PS4)
Hades (PC/Switch)
Half Life 2 (PC)
Hollow Knight (PC)
Horizon: Zero Dawn (PC)
Iconoclasts (PC)
Jet Set Radio (PC)
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (PC)
Metro 2033 (PC)
Nier: Automata (PC)
Nioh: Complete Edition (PC)
Outer Wilds (PC)
Red Dead Redemption (PS3)
Shadow Warrior 2 (PC)
The Ultimate Doom (PC)
The Witcher 3 (PC)
Yakuza 0 (PC)
I don't necessarily expect to be able to complete this list given that I'll also be playing so many other things from my backlog, but if I can get through most of them I'll consider that a win. I've also got a little blog where I keep track of my progress and my thoughts on the stuff I've been playing. I'm not going to link it here because I don't know that I'm allowed to and I don't want it to seem like I'm just here to self promote, but feel free to PM me if you want to check it out. I'd also love to discuss my list, your list, or even just the stuff you're playing, if anyone is down for that.
